The Video Downloader Plus library gives you a place to store references to videos you’ve found while browsing. Instead of bookmarking a URL and hoping the video is still there when you return, you save the stream directly — with its thumbnail, title, and source page recorded at the moment of detection.

Saving videos

When Video Downloader Plus detects a stream, click Save in the popup to add it to your library. For each saved video, Video Downloader Plus stores:
  • Title — The video title extracted from the page or stream metadata
  • Thumbnail — A preview image captured at the time of saving
  • Source link — The original page URL so you can return to where the video lives
  • Hash — A content fingerprint used to deduplicate saves, so the same video doesn’t appear twice even if saved from different sessions
