Registration & Login — Create Your Account

Set up a Video Downloader Plus account to access cloud library, sync, and billing features. Basic downloads work without signing in.

An account is not required to start using Video Downloader Plus. You can detect streams and run basic downloads the moment the extension is installed. An account becomes necessary when you want to store videos in your cloud library, sync across devices, or manage a subscription.

Create an account

Email registration

1. Go to the registration page

   Open vidow.io/register in your browser.

2. Fill in your details

   Enter your name, email address, and a password.

3. Verify your email

   A confirmation link will be sent to the address you provided. Click it to activate your account. Authenticated features are not available until verification is complete.

Google Sign-In

If you prefer not to manage a separate password, you can register through Google instead:

1. Click Sign in with Google on the registration or login page
2. Choose the Google account you want to use and grant Video Downloader Plus access
3. Your account is created immediately — no email verification step required

Google Sign-In is the fastest way to get started. Your email is pre-verified through Google, so you gain full access right away.

Sign in

Go to vidow.io/login and enter your email and password. If you registered through Google, use the Sign in with Google button instead.

If two-factor authentication is active on your account, you will be prompted for a verification code after your password is accepted.

Password reset

Forgot your password? Here is how to recover access:

1. Click Forgot your password? on the login page
2. Type in your account email address
3. Open the reset email that arrives in your inbox
4. Follow the link and choose a new password

Delete your account

Account deletion is available at vidow.io/settings/profile. The action is immediate and cannot be reversed. It will:

• Erase all personal data tied to your account
• Cancel any active subscription
• Remove saved videos and cloud storage connections

Deleting your account is permanent. There is no recovery option once confirmed. Download any content you want to keep before proceeding.
